Steve Wallach, CEO and Chairman of the Board

With nearly two decades of sales and network marketing experience, Mr. Steve Wallach has successfully guided Youngevity International, Inc. to become an international, publicly-traded direct marketing company that is positioned for worldwide growth. Steve shares the passion of his father, Youngevity founder Dr. Joel Wallach, DVM, ND, for public access to complete and accurate health information. He is a frequent talk radio program guest and speaks eloquently about the company's mission to place information into the hands of consumers, allowing them to make informed healthcare decisions. His business philosophy reflects his strong belief that passion should be the driving force behind any organization, with flexibility and efficiency being key elements along the road to success in the business world. Having assembled a dynamic, talented, and experienced management team as well as solid infrastructure, Steve has positioned the company for steady growth, both organically and through mergers and acquisitions.
Dr. Joel D. Wallach, DVM, ND, Co-founder of Youngevity

A biomedical research pioneer, Dr. Joel D. Wallach, DVM, ND spent more than 40 years in the field of Veterinary Medicine, observing and researching the effects of individual nutrients on animal health, before becoming a Naturopathic Physician in 1982. Today, Dr. Wallach is renowned for his groundbreaking research on the health benefits of selenium and other minerals. He currently dedicates his time to lecturing throughout the world on the therapeutic benefits of vitamins and minerals, and on lobbying the U.S. Food and Drug Administration on behalf of the dietary supplement industry.

Early Work
Dr. Wallach has held key positions with leading zoos and universities in the United States and Africa, including Director of the Jacksonville Zoological Park in Jacksonville, Florida; Research Veterinarian for the South Africa National Parks Department (where he was a member of the famous “Operation Rhino” team); and Director of Research at the St. Louis Zoological Park in St. Louis, Missouri. At the request of Africa’s National Parks and Wildlife Management Department, Dr. Wallach led an expedition to capture and mark elephants in the Wankie Game Preserve in Rhodesia as part of a migration study. He is one of the founders and a former editor of the Journal of Zoo Animal Medicine. A prolific author, he has published more than 70 scientific papers and six books including the famous textbook, Diseases of Exotic Animals, still used today by leading veterinary schools, and on the Smithsonian Institute’s recommended reading list for Zoological Garden and Aquarium libraries.

Groundbreaking Research on Trace Minerals
As a researcher at the Emory University Yerkes National Primate Center in Atlanta, Georgia in 1977, Dr. Wallach discovered the world’s first known case of non-human cystic fibrosis in a selenium-deficient Rhesus monkey. At the time, cystic fibrosis was believed to the result of a human genetic disorder. Dr. Wallach’s monumental discovery set him on a 20-year path of research on the health benefits of selenium and other minerals. As a result of this work, he became known as The Mineral Doctor and the Father of Liquid Mineral Supplementation.

The Founding of Youngevity®
In 1997, Dr. Wallach and Dr. Ma Lan, MD, MS, founded American Longevity, the network marketing company known today as Youngevity® . Within five years the company had an international network of distributors and preferred customers plus offices in Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, South Africa, and Japan. Today, Youngevity® is a global nutritional and coffee direct marketing company dedicated to improving lifestyles through vibrant health and flourishing economics.

First Amendment Advocate
Dr. Wallach currently dedicates his time to lecturing throughout the world on the therapeutic benefits of vitamins and minerals, and on lobbying the U.S. Food and Drug Administration on behalf of the dietary supplement industry. His tireless efforts and dedication to the public’s First Amendment rights to complete information on the therapeutic benefits of nutrition prompted the FDA to establish Qualified Health Claims for Selenium (“may reduce the risk of certain cancers”) and Omega-3 Essential Fatty Acids (“may reduce the risk of coronary heart disease”). Only a few Qualified Health Claims exist, placing Youngevity® in a unique position among Dietary Supplement and Direct Marketing companies.
Dr. Ma Lan, MD, MS, Co-founder of Youngevity®

Dr. Lan received her medical degree from Beijing Medical University and her Master’s degree in Transplant Immunology from Zhon-Shan Medical University. She also has extensive training in Traditional Chinese Medicine. Dr. Lan has served as an exchange scholar at Harvard School of Medicine, a research Fellow in Laser Microsurgery at St. Joseph’s Hospital (Houston), and as a practicing staff member at the Medical College of Wisconsin, Milwaukee Department of Orthopedic Microsurgery. Her research on transplant immunology and microsurgery resulted in ten papers published in peer-reviewed journals. She is the co-author, along with Dr. Joel Wallach, of Hell’s Kitchen: Cause, Prevention & Cure of Obesity, Diabetes & Metabolic Syndrome and Black Gene Lies: Slave Quarter Cures.

Michelle Wallach, Chief Operating Officer of Youngevity

Michelle Wallach brings to Youngevity® nearly 20 years of experience in network marketing sales and management. Her career in network marketing began in 1991 in Portland, Oregon, where she developed a successful nutritional health product distributorship. She later moved to San Diego with the vision to expand her business and capitalize on the growing the health and nutrition industry. In 1996 she and the Wallach family together launched Youngevity® in Chula Vista, California. As COO, Michelle is involved in the day to day challenges of running a corporation, while ensuring the company remains to fulfilling its mission of improving lifestyles through vibrant health and flourishing economics.

Dave Briskie, President and CFO

As CEO of Javalution Coffee Company, Dave Briskie has shepherded the company's development into a fully vertical coffee roasting and distribution company, owner of the direct marketing brand JavaFit® and the retail brand Cafe La Rica, as well as the category creator of functional gourmet coffee. Prior to joining Javalution in 2007, he was CEO of Drew Pearson Marketing, Inc. (DPM), a designer and manufacturer of licensed, private label, and fashion headwear whose clients included FORTUNE500® companies, including Disney, Warner Bros., Anheuser Busch, and General Motors as well as NFL, NBA, MLB, NHL, and various major universities. In 2001 he oversaw the merger of DPM and its key manufacturer, and the public offering of the merged company on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange. Mr. Briskie is a recipient of the coveted Paul DeLorenzo scholar-athlete award and in 1983 graduated magna cum laude from Fordham University with a double major in marketing and finance.

Jonnie Taylor, Senior Executive VP of Customer Service

As the leader of Youngevity's Customer Service Team, Jonnie has a key role in assuring our distributors have the support they need to grow a successful independent business. She and her staff regularly advise Youngevity's distributors on goal setting, motivation, downline management, streamlined order processing, and implementing incentive programs to ensure productivity. As a former distributor, Jonnie has a deep understanding of the challenges of business-building from a distributor perspective. Her invaluable insight and business-building skills have been central to the effectiveness of Youngevity's customer relations and development.

Raffy Lorentzian, VP, Corporate Controller

As Youngevity’s Corporate Controller, Raffy Lorentzian is responsible for managing the financial reporting and operations of Youngevity’s U.S. and Global Operations. Raffy is committed to maintaining the high level of integrity and transparency for which Youngevity is known. Prior to joining Youngevity, Raffy was the Chief Financial Officer of National Technical Systems; a publicly traded company. He started there as Controller in 1997, and with his strong SEC reporting experience, leadership skills and successful accomplishments in mergers and acquisitions, Raffy was promoted to CFO in 2007. His continued efforts contributed to the Company’s rapid growth and increased shareholder value, which eventually led to the successful sale of the Company to a Private Equity Firm. During his career, Raffy has held various controller and financial management positions with publicly held companies. Raffy has extensive experience in strategic planning, profit-and-loss leadership, ERP conversions and mergers and acquisitions. When Raffy joined Youngevity in March of 2013, he was instrumental in the successful transition of the Company from a privately held company to a publicly traded company providing timely and accurate financial reporting. He is also involved in the Company’s global expansion, acquisitions and IT initiatives. Raffy has a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Bentley University.

Wiley Hurt, VP of Global Operations / Senior Project Manager

Since 1997, Wiley has been involved in nearly every aspect of the growth and development of Youngevity. From designing and managing the construction at corporate headquarters to setting up the technology systems of many Youngevity offices, even globally, to international project management, Wiley is a dynamic asset to the company. He has played an extensive role in setting up Youngevity’s first overseas Distribution Center in New Zealand/Australia and is now working closely with Latin American and Russian offices to support distribution in these regions. As Youngevity continues to experience extraordinary growth, Wiley is now serving as our Vice President of Global Operations. He is committed to the pursuit of spreading Dr. Wallach’s message around the world.

Brad Kenson, Chief Technology Officer

Brad Kenson brings more than 25 years of executive leadership experience to Youngevity, building complex systems and international supply chains for both public and private companies. He joins Youngevity from MK Collaborative, where he most recently served as Divisional President, guiding the company from start-up to current day operations. While at MK Collaborative, Brad led the development of the company’s highly acclaimed on-line e-boutique platform, enterprise middleware and proprietary product lifecycle management systems. He has also held various executive-level positions in the apparel sector, most notably, Divisional President of Tarrant Apparel Group, where he was responsible for P&L oversight for more than $100 million in annual sales. Brad is responsible for leading the next generation enterprise, web and mobile IT systems development to meet the demands of Youngevity’s emerging international business and mobile workforce.

Scott Bell, VP of Analytics and Promotions

As a pioneer in Direct Selling Analytics, Scott Bell has contributed to the development of many of today’s current analytics models. Over the last 20 years, he’s helped top Direct Selling companies craft and manage successful worldwide marketing and promotional campaigns. He has led global teams in the development of corporate & distributor analytics, business intelligence and distributor compensation models. Scott is passionate about identifying opportunities and creating data-driven, actionable strategies that allow distributors to become healthier and more financially secure. Scott now brings his expertise to Youngevity; working closely with the Executive Team to create world-class sales programs and strategies.

Scott McElroy, Director IT PMO / Global Technology Solutions Architect

Scott McElroy brings 30 years of experience in Information Systems and Technology to advance the strategic architecture, applications development, data center operations, infrastructure, security and core technologies that support the business on a global scale. Prior to joining Youngevity, Scott McElroy led the design, development and implementation of strategic technology initiatives for Cisco Systems, Deloitte, Intel Corporation, Northern Trust of Chicago, The VONS Companies and numerous Fortune 500 companies while serving as President and CEO of two Southern California-based technology consultancies. Scott also managed the Office of Strategic Initiatives for First American Title’s Professional Real Estate Services where he directed a portfolio of large-scale application development projects valued in excess of $15M. In addition to numerous professional certifications, Scott McElroy has a B.S. in Business Administration and Information Systems from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona. He has been involved in numerous professional, community and technology organizations and formally recognized for his efforts by both the California State Assembly and California State Senate.

Sandy Horwitz, VP of Distribution/Logistics

With a background in dancing, martial arts, Pilates and other areas of fitness, Sandy started her career at Youngevity with the aim of offering a professional fitness center as a part of the Youngevity opportunity. She was able to travel, set up and train distributors on how to run a successful fitness center during the inception of Youngevity. However, soon after, the opportunity to run the distribution center and logistics became available and Sandy, with over 15 prior years of management experience, became the Distribution Manager for Youngevity. 12 years later, she now oversees 6 teams of over 70 employees that handle all distribution and logistics for Youngevity; both domestically and internationally. Sandy and her team are a major driving force for Youngevity, handling every order received small and large, incoming and outgoing; ensuring that Youngevity continues to grow and serve individuals around the globe.

Sanjeev Javia, Scientific & Athletic Advisory Board

Sanjeev has multiple roles at Youngevity stemming from product development and formulation to working to building out the marketing strategy in their international markets. He has an MBA from Thunderbird School of Global Management and a Bio Psychology degree from the University of Michigan. Formulating nutrition products for over 15 years, he's developed entire lines of supplement products from sports performance to various disease management states. His specialty and research emphasis focuses on nutrition and exercise interventions in diabetes/obesity, auto-immune diseases, neurological issues, and post chemotherapy recovery. His client list includes some of the top professional athletes in the world, SuperBowl MVP's, Stanley Cup Champions, World Series Hall of Famers, and Olympic Medalist. Sanjeev is the founder/CEO of Javia Wellness Group and is a board member or partner in various health related organizations such as SpeedFlex Training Systems, Like A Pro Inc, SuperFlex Fitness, DermSpectra Imaging, and Splash Beverage Group. His focus at Youngevity is to further reinforce the incredible health philosophy of 90 For Life and support the overall mission of solving today's health concerns through high quality supplementation.

Alex Theis, VP of Field Relations & Training

Alex Theis comes to Youngevity with extensive experience having worked in almost every area of the industry. His experience includes directing large customer service teams, developing sales initiatives, international management, commissions, IT/web, compliance, events, and distributor relations. He has worked extensively with million-dollar earners, becoming an advocate for tools, communication, and training. Additionally, Alex has become a passionate spokesperson for the Distributor Force. He’s spent an extensive amount of time speaking and training in North America, Asia, and Australia, and working with distributors in those areas, as well as, Europe and Central America. He has played a pivotal role in helping companies develop growth, improve communication, and increase employee and customer retention. Alex now brings his passion for relationship building and development to Youngevity, where he will work hand-in-hand with distributors and continue to develop the already solid network.

David Rutz, VP of Global Services

David Rutz brings more than 25 years of direct sales, network marketing and executive operations experience to Youngevity. An inspirational leader with extensive experience in both direct sales and operations, David has led and trained a national sales organization; and as a corporate officer, David launched his own direct sales company, Escape International. David was also the Founder and President of a long-distance telephone and Internet company (The Free Network) where he led the growth and operations from startup to over 300,000 customers in under three years – using direct selling as the sole method of distribution. He is known for keeping service offerings simple to understand and promote, allowing rapid growth and replication amongst distributors. David’s early business career included working as a Business Consultant with Andersen Consulting (Accenture) and as Financial Analyst with General Motors. A graduate of The University of Michigan Ross School of Business, he received his degree in Business Administration with concentrations in Finance and Marketing.

Scott Salik, VP of Global Content

Scott Salik brings more than 30 years of technological and programming experience to Youngevity. He is a member of Producer's Guild of America and Academy of Television Arts and Sciences. Scott’s career includes feature films, work for all the major television networks, producing niche cable programming and creating marketing content for many of the great American brands. He served as VP of Programming and Network Development for Beachbody as part of the "Team Beachbody" launch team and most recently as VP of Video with ViSalus. His track record for integrating state-of-the art technical and creative innovations to maximize content value, enhance user engagement and grow brands is unmatched in the direct selling industry. Scott is committed to accelerating the trailblazing vision Youngevity has set forth for the coming years.

Sean Brown, Director of Special Programs

As the Co-Founder of Mialisia™ Jewelry, Sean Brown possesses the progressive qualities needed to create and manage Youngevity’s special programs. Having previously worked as a Bank Executive for HSBC and Bank of America, two of the country’s leading financial institutions, Sean also brings over 15 years of business strategies and sales experience. He has extensive experience leading large sales organizations and developing special programs and incentives for leading industries. Sean designed, built and is currently heading the Social Selling Program for Youngevity and as the company continues to grow, he will continue to develop necessary programs and help support new acquisitions and developments.

Brian J. Davis, Creative Director

Brian brings over 20 years of graphic design background to Youngevity, with experience spanning such fields as printing, publishing, advertising and marketing. Brian joined Youngevity in 2008, working with top executives on new product development and has been responsible for the majority of creative direction, print and packaging since. Brian corresponds closely with vendors, helps fulfil distributor requests, maintains branding strategy, works on special projects and product conceptualization, and manages day-to-day operations, delegating workflow in the marketing department. As Youngevity grows internationally, Brian assists in managing product packaging for the regions and holds a key role in the company's expanding momentum worldwide.

Ricardo Spilman, Director of Sales and Operations for Eastern Europe and Israel

Ricardo Spilman brings over 30 years of global, direct-selling executive experience to Youngevity, with a successful track record in sales, marketing, and expansion. Ricardo has held CEO position for Just Ltd (Argentina) and Soda Stream Ltd ( Argentina), leading both companies to global expansion through negotiations, operations, and development. He was also part owner of Swiss Nahrin Ltd (Eastern Europe and Israel), an international cosmetics alternative and food supplements brand with 40 franchise companies in Europe and South America. Most recently, he was the advisor for PM-International’s Board of Directors, one of Europe’s largest direct marketing companies in the health, wellness, and beauty industry. While at PM-International, he formulated strategies for penetrating new markets, built training programs, and helped lead the company to global growth. Ricardo is a skilled negotiator with global connections, necessary as he leads Youngevity to international expansion starting in Eastern Europe and Israel.

Ben Ho, VP of Asia

Ben started his career in the Direct-Selling Industry as a distributor over 15 years ago. Now a seasoned veteran in the Asian Direct-Selling industry, Ben believes that paying it forward is vital to success, rationalizing that an increase in the quality of health and wealth his team receives will have a positive net effect on their families and friends. Ben is certain that the Direct-Selling Industry holds the key to success in today’s ever-changing world, in terms of constitution (both physical and fiscal). Ben also has extensive experience in new start-ups, market expansion, strategic planning, operations, sales & marketing, budget administration, project management, customer satisfaction, and resource optimisation. With sustainability and prosperity for all in mind, he strives to help spread the organization’s branches over Asia, so that its people can enjoy the benefits of the products that Dr Joel Wallach and Youngevity have promoted for years.

Susana Azócar, Director of Sales and Operations for Latin America

Susana Azócar is a multicultural executive, with more than 15 years of professional experience in business management in various industries with a keen focus on the markets of Latin America. Ms. Azócar has extensive experience in developing and opening new markets from the ground floor up, building and running business strategic plans, creating distribution channels, marketing campaigns and sales teams, both domestically and internationally. She has successfully opened and launched several regions throughout Latin America and led the expansion efforts of three different U.S. direct selling companies opening offices and building distribution networks in Guadalajara, Mexico; Caracas, Venezuela; San Juan, Puerto Rico; and Santiago, Chile. She is passionate about making a difference in the lives of others and has worked hand in hand with leaders in order to help grow their business. She strongly believes in the power of teamwork, and motivates others to get the best out of them.

Robert Greer, Country Manager of Operations and Sales for Australia and New Zealand

Rob left school and studied Law at Auckland University for 2 years. Eventually Youngevity showed up on Rob’s radar after his wife heard Dr. Wallach speak to a heavily over packed meeting in Auckland in 2002. His wife came home that night, so excited about what she had heard that night, that Rob could not get to sleep. Having had a long time interest in health and wellness, Robs passion and excitement for Dr. Wallach and his products, the growth of Youngevity globally and the amazing compensation plan available for associates continues to grow daily.
